Seanie Monaghan took another step toward a place many folks didn't think he would get to -- pay-per-view land -- with a win over Anthony Caputo-Smith on Saturday night. No, he didn't headline the card, which unfolded at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. But that he opened the pay-per-view portion of the card topped by a Timothy Bradley Jr.-Juan Manuel Marquez welterweight scrap was something of a marvel, considering he was dismissed by many -- and not just snobs, either -- as being a lunch-pail sort who was good for selling seats at local club shows, and that's it.
