Ricky Hatton says "Mayweather will beat Pacquiao"

 

So sayeth the man who was knocked out by both fighters — Mayweather in the 10th round in 2007, and Pacquiao in the second round in 2009. Those are the only two defeats for the British Hatton, who says he’s now retired.

On Twitter he wrote: “Im hearing real progress is being made making pacman n mayweather, great news. I fancy mayweather.
“PAC nailed me as I was reckless, again. But Floyd was technically exceptional. I couldn’t hit the F***** with a handfull of confetti. Ha ha.”

For the record, real progress is not actually being made toward a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight: at least not for May 5. This fight, if it happens, will occur after Mayweather gets out of jail, say most exerts. Although it’s also rumored that Mayweather may ask the judge for another delay.
