6 Actors Who Could Play Floyd Mayweather in a Movie About His Boxing Career Sep 8th 2012, 15:56 It's difficult to find the right actors to play athletes in movies. When producers hired Kevin Costner to play Crash Davis in the classic baseball movie Bull Durham, they had to make sure he could hit a baseball and portray himself as an athlete without sending the audience into hysterics. Costner probably turned out to be a better athlete than actor. He had a great swing in that movie, and he has proven to be quite athletic. If (when) a movie is made about the life of Floyd "Money" Mayweather, finding the right actor to portray him would not be easy.
