Roger Mayweather Thinks Floyd Needs to Fight Pacquiao, Bradley When He Returns
Nov 14th 2012, 15:20

As Floyd Mayweather Jr. remains mum on his future in the ring, "Money's" uncle and trainer Roger Mayweather told DogHouseBoxing.com that he will return and named the two fights that Floyd "needs" before his career is over.

The elder Mayweather told DogHouseBoxing.com, "He’s going to get back in the ring. Floyd’s still better than 90% of the mother****ers out there. Floyd would still whoop Pacquiao’s ass, he would still whoop Timothy Bradley’s ass. He would do that for sure."

Further elaborating on Pacquiao and Bradley, Roger went on to say, "I think he can put a little more hurt on someone. Put a little hurt on Bradley and Pacquiao. Them the two fights he has to have, and it will clear it up right there."

It is unclear to whether or not "Money" will take his uncle's advice when he does make his return to the ring, but if he does—and the promoting side of the boxing business doesn't get in the way—then the boxing world has some big fights on its horizon.

A Bradley fight would show us what Floyd could do against one of the top younger fighters who is still in his prime. A bout against Pacquiao would finally give the world the super fight they have been waiting for over the past few years and would settle the question of who this era's best fighter really is, once and for all.

So as we all wait to hear what Floyd has in store for us in his anticipated return to the ring, one would hope that "Money" listens to what his uncle has to say and gives the fans at least two big fights before he hangs up his gloves for good.
