Vinny Maddalone is not like most men. He doesn't dissaude so easy. The Flushing heavyweight lost in his last outing, via TKO5, to Tyson Fury in England. But the dream didn't die. The hope still lingers, and boxing is still lousy in his blood. The 38-year-old with a 35-8 record will headline a Dec. 8 card at the Resorts Casino in Queens. Promoter/matchmaker Felipe Gomez is, as of today, looking at either 9-2 Keith Barr or 23-17 Jeremy Bates to step in with Maddalone.
