Pacquiao vs. Marquez Live Stream: Where to Watch the Bout Online
Dec 8th 2012, 12:00

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will meet in the ring on Saturday night for what should be the fourth and final battle in what has been an epic series of fights.

Pac-Man has the edge over Marquez after having won the last two bouts by decision. In their first meeting, Marquez was able to overcome some incredible obstacles early on to finish with a draw.

Hopefully this version of the Pacquiao-Marquez rivalry doesn't end that way and boxing fans can get some closure between these two fighters.

Let's take a look at the live stream information and everything else you need to know about this fight.

When: Saturday, Dec. 8 at 11:30 p.m. ET

Where: MGM Grand, Las Vegas

Watch: Pay-Per-View

What to Expect

These two fighters match up so well, so naturally there are no lopsided bouts between the two.

Pacquiao is an aggressive fighter who is always moving forward. Pac-Man will attempt to open up his opponent with a lead jab and then will go to the inside to throw a devastating combination and/or power shot.

Marquez is about as good as they come in countering such an approach. Pac-Man might throw that lead jab, but Marquez can dodge it and make him pay for it with his great counter-punching skills.

That helps create an element of doubt in Pac-Man's mind should he lead with that jab, whether he lands it or not.

The majority of Pacquiao's power shots will come from a square stance, but don't underestimate Pac-Man's ability to throw crushing blows from any stance or angle. But that square stance will be exactly what Marquez is looking for as he loves to throw straight shots at a wide target to set himself up.

If all goes to plan and Pac-Man can land that lead jab, he will nearly fall into Marquez as he attempts to get to the inside to do damage. However, Marquez can capitalize on that approach when given the chance and is fast enough to recover and throw a blistering combination in close.

This fight will be won on the inside and while Pacquiao is one of the best at punishing an opponent in close, Marquez is just as good at exchanging and turning Pacquiao's skills against him.

It remains to be seen if this fight will live up to the last three, but there is no doubt that these two fighters are a perfect match for the other. This will be a close fight from the first round to the last, so don't expect to get a breather while watching this one.
