The last time Radio City Music Hall was graced by the presence of pugilism, pound-for-pound ace Roy Jones was on center stage. He battled out-of-his-depth David Telesco, in a light heavyweight title defense, on Jan. 15, 2000, and won a unanimous decision. In fairness to Telesco, everyone was out of their depth against Jones, whose skills at that time were divine. WBO super bantam champ Nonito Donaire, who fights at Radio City in April, has some pretty darn stellar skills himself, though more history will have to play out before we can lump his legacy in with Jones'.
