Confession: I'm sort of a fan of two of the young boxers on the Saturday card at Barclays Center. Frank Galarza and Marcus Browne are two promising hitters with engaging personalities. You have to hope that they keep excelling, and get to the professional promised land. The 27-year-old Galarza was born in Red Hook. He stands out because of his upbeat attitude. His father died when he was seven, and his mom died when he was nine. He grew up in the home of his father's sister and her husband, Wilma and Benjamin Collazo.
