Floyd Mayweather at Big Risk to Lose in Hyped Fight May 5th 2013, 02:05 On the surface, Robert Guerrero has the look of being nothing more than another notch on Floyd Mayweather's undefeated belt.  Much like his most recent fights with Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz and Miguel Cotto, Money is the overwhelming favorite. Like, 2-13 overwhelming (via SportsBook). Predictable, don't-buy-this-fight overwhelming.  But don't completely write off The Ghost quite yet.  First and foremost, Mayweather is 36 years old. That's less of an issue when said 36-year-old is a physical specimen like Pretty Boy, but sooner or later, the combination of age and year-long layoffs that he continues to take will begin to result in rust and a slower defense.  It isn't as easy—or natural—to return in tip-top shape from those kind of breaks as Mayweather has made it seem in the past six years.  More importantly, and more substantially, the fact that Guerrero is a lefty should have Money concerned, as southpaws such as DeMarcus Corley and Zab Judah have at least given him slight problems in the past. Ortiz, who Mayweather knocked out in the fourth round, was also a southpaw, but he's not as effective on the inside as Guerrero—which is how lefties can take advantage of their unorthodox style.  Which brings me to my next point.  Guerrero's style is more than a compelling storyline coming into this fight. He isn't afraid. He's willing to get inside and mix it up, as was apparent during his memorable slugfest win over Andre Berto last year. He has what you call cojones. He's aggressive, will get into Mayweather and will attack him with everything he has. It's a style that leaves him susceptible, but it's also a style that lays the work for a potential miracle. Breaking Mayweather's defenses is a nearly impossible task, so why not come at him with an aggressive, balls-to-the-wall approach? Guerrero will do just that. Picking against Mayweather is borderline crazy, but maybe his distractions, age and time away from the ring are just enough to slow him down. Maybe Guerrero's unorthodox style is just enough to frustrate the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. Maybe his aggressiveness is just enough to land that one crucial shot to sway the fight.  I, like most, believe Mayweather will leave the MGM victorious, but there is far more risk associated with that pick than many choose to believe.  My money is staying right here in Mr. Pocket.  Follow @t_keen Read more Boxing news on BleacherReport.com
