Boxing’s biggest star will enter the ring when Floyd Mayweather Jr. puts his unblemished professional record on the line against Robert Guerrero.
The WBC Welterweight title is up for grabs, and while Mayweather is undoubtedly the favorite, Guerrero is a gritty opponent. With age continuing to creep up on the 36-year-old champ, a loss becomes increasingly more likely with every fight.
Mayweather’s 43-0-0 record backs up his claim to boxing’s throne, but Guerrero also boasts an impressive resume and is 31-1-1 during his career.
Anytime Mayweather is in the ring, it’s a must-watch event. He will have to take down a quality opponent in order to stay undefeated, and this may end up being the marquee event of 2013.
Tune in to the Showtime pay-per-view broadcast at 9 p.m. ET to catch all the action.
