Guillermo Rigondeux impressed the heck out of boxing fans who saw him do his ultra-clever pugilism against, the 2012 Boxing Writers Association Fighter of the Year, Nonito Donaire at Radio City Music Hall on April 13. Yes, there was some grumbling from those who like more trading. They believe that the Cuban-born 32-year-old Floridian would be more fan-friendly if he spent less time and energy on defense and more in attack mode. But the super bantam champ Rigo (12-0 with 8 KOs), managed by Irishman Gary Hyde, is a legit top ten pound for pounder.
