Manny Pacquiao Video: Watch Pac-Man Challenge Floyd Mayweather to Fight Aug 12th 2013, 17:37, by Brian Mazique Just when you thought the Floyd "Money" Mayweather-Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao superfight talk was dead, the flames seem to be rekindled. In a recent interview with the Boxing Channel on YouTube, Pacquiao expresses to Marcos Villegas his desire to face the pound-for-pound king. When asked about Mayweather calling him a "has been," Pacquiao briefly squinted and crunched his face, raised his voice an octave and said: "Let's do it. Let's get it on." He has tons to prove coming off of two straight losses. While the June 2012 loss to Timothy Bradley is hotly disputed in some circles, there is nothing disputable about the vicious KO loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in December of 2012. In the interview, Pacquiao claims many of his opponents run from him. He had previously called Marquez's KO blow a "lucky punch" according to Miguel Rivera of BoxingScene.com, but he seemed to sidestep addressing that comment in the interview.    While we admire Pacquiao's apparent willingness to do his part to make a fight with Money happen, he still has some work to do on Nov. 23 when he faces Brandon Rios in Macao, China. Likewise, Mayweather must handle Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on Sept. 14 before talks of this fight can really gain any steam. If Mayweather defeats Alvarez by decision or TKO, expect a Pacquiao-themed question to be the first inquiry hurled at him in the post-fight interview. Depending on his answer, the hype will go from six to eight on a scale of one-to-10. If Pacquiao bashes Rios and scores an exciting KO victory as many expect, we may find the hype back to the level it was in 2009. At one point, the potential clash was the most-anticipated potential bout of the last 25 years in the sport.
