Garcia-Matthysse tour delayed Aug 9th 2013, 13:14, by Dan Rafael When the Danny Garcia-Lucas Matthysse junior welterweight title fight -- one of the most anticipated matches in boxing -- was added to the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Canelo Alvarez card on Sept. 14 (Showtime PPV) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the plan was to give the fight its own promotional tour. That’s how big of a fight it is. Golden Boy promoter Richard Schaefer originally planned to have the three-city tour take place this week with stops in New York, Puerto Rico (where Garcia’s family is from) and Los Angeles.
