The hype has been building, and the day is finally here.
Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather will finally be facing each other in the fight that's being called "The One". Both fighters are coming in undefeated, but only one will be able to leave without a "1" in the loss column.

He may be just 23 years old, but Canelo Alvarez is no stranger to the boxing world.
Canelo has been fighting for almost eight years, averaging close to six fights per year. He turned professional when he was just 15 years old back in 2005, and he's never slowed down.
What makes Alvarez such a great fighter is his strong combination of accuracy in power. He uses his gloves well, knowing when to strike and when to hold back. He has thrown some deadly counterpunches in his career, including one against Austin Trout that knocked him down for the first time in his career.
A number of critics have brought up that Canelo has had issues in the past with his stamina, which could be a huge mismatch in this fight. Canelo has also yet to go up against a truly top-tier fighter, so this will be the first major test of his career.
He's clearly the underdog going against the best boxer in the world, but there's a reason Canelo is getting a chance to take on Money. With an undefeated record and a history of exciting fights, Canelo is bound to put up a good fight.
Floyd Mayweather
Whether you call him Floyd or Money, you know that Mayweather always come through.
At 36 years old, it's been an incredible career for Money. He's taken down the likes of Victor Ortiz, Robert Guerrero, Shane Mosley and Oscar De La Hoya.
Despite being such a great fighter, Mayweather isn't a slugger who goes for knockouts. Instead, Money prefers to drag fights out and make them go the distance, knowing he can take advantage of opposing fighters when they wear down. In his past five fights, he's had four unanimous decisions with the other coming by way of knockout against Ortiz.
Regardless of whether or not he wins, Mayweather is going to get paid quite a bit of money. According to Dan Rafael of ESPN, Mayweather will take home a reported $41.5 million.
Along with being an incredible fighter, Mayweather is a truly relentless intimidator. He has no problem using profane language or simply doing whatever it takes to get in the opponent's head.
Mayweather is the favorite, and for good reason. This could be one of his biggest tests, however, so he will need to be at the top of his game.
