Porter-Diaz II offers appetizer Sep 11th 2013, 07:29, by jasonlangendorf LAS VEGAS -- The fight week festivities for the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Canelo Alvarez megafight on Saturday night kicked off on Tuesday afternoon with the grand arrivals of the fighters walking down a red carpet in the packed and raucous MGM Grand lobby. But just before that, those fans were treated to the final news conference for the appetizer boxing show on Thursday night (Fox Sports 2, 10 ET) at the MGM's Premier Ballroom. The card is headlined by a rematch between welterweights Shawn Porter (21-0-1, 14 KOs) and Julio Diaz (40-8-1, 29 KOs), who fought to a draw in an excellent fight in December.
