Bradley vs. Marquez Press Conference: Watch Live Stream of Pre-Fight Event
Oct 9th 2013, 18:01, by Kevin McRae

In a summer that was dominated by hype for one of the biggest fights in recent memory, this Saturday night's clash for the WBO Welterweight Championship is just now getting the attention it deserves.

Can Timothy Bradley remain undefeated and score the biggest victory of his career? Or will Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez add another world championship to an already Hall of Fame-worthy career?

Wednesday afternoon, the two men will meet face-to-face for the final press conference ahead of their big fight. Given the amount of trash talk they've engaged in during the past few months, you can be sure it'll be explosive.

Where: Wynn Resort, Las Vegas, Nev.

When: 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT

The hype for this bout has already produced plenty of jaw-dropping moments, and you can get the sense from watching HBO's 24/7 Bradley vs. Marquez that the two fighters really aren't very fond of each other. That should make for an interesting trip to the podium Wednesday in Las Vegas.

Timothy Bradley is undefeated in 30 professional bouts. He's captured world championships in both the 140- and 147-pound divisions, and is looking to make the sort of statement that catapults his career to the next level.

He went toe-to-toe with the rugged Ruslan Provodnikov in his last bout, and showed an ability to win a fight that takes place far outside his normal comfort zone. It was his first time in the ring since scoring a hotly disputed split decision over Manny Pacquiao—to capture the welterweight title—last June.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a legend, and he's one of the greatest fighters of all time to come out of the fighting-crazed nation of Mexico. He'll be looking to capture a world championship in a fifth weight class.

He'll be fighting for the first time since scoring a stunning sixth-round knockout over longtime rival Pacquiao in December. It was a career-defining victory, and finally forced the 40-year-old out of boxing's shadows and into the mainstream.

Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez takes place Saturday, Oct. 12, live on HBO pay-per-view beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
