Pacquiao vs. Rios Results: Winner, Twitter Reaction, Breakdown and Analysis
Nov 24th 2013, 05:56, by Tim Keeney

Manny Pacquiao isn't ready to retire quite yet.

The 34-year-old Filipino, coming off two straight losses, answered any-and-all questions about his current form, as he absolutely dominated Brandon Rios en route to an unanimous decision victory in Macao on Sunday morning.

It wasn't quite a perfect shutout, but it was close, via Bleacher Report:

Boxing analyst Al Bernstein summed up the transcendent effort from Pac-Man:

Following the assertive beatdown, the new WBO International Welterweight Champion showed his class, via HBO Boxing's Twitter feed:

Pac-Man set the tone early, connecting on four-times as many punches as Rios in the opening round, per ESPN's Dan Rafael:

The veteran, who clearly outclassed Rios inside the ropes, only continued to increase the pressure and come with a relentless attack. As Top Rank Boxing's Twitter feed pointed out, though, the underdog didn't back down, showing a little bit of that "crazy streak" we all knew he had in him:

More often than not, Pacquiao was showcasing his pre-Marquez-knockout speed and untouchable lateral movement, delivering lightning-quick combinations and dominating Rios with both volume and power.

By the end of the ninth round, the discrepancy was massive, per Compubox (via ESPN Stats & Info):

No matter what Rios did, Manny had a better, faster, more powerful answer. Rafael summed it up:

Meanwhile, Mannix explained why the American wasn't able to better fight back:

Still, Rios held on in the final rounds, forcing the fight to go the distance. While he was clearly outclassed by a superior opponent, you can't question his toughness, courage or chin, with emphasis on the latter, via Iole:

The final numbers, per Rafael, tell the entire story:

Those hoping to hear Manny Pacquiao's retirement speech sometime in 2013 aren't going to get their wish. Instead, as Mannix conjectures, we may see a certain matchup for the fifth time:
