Pacquiao vs. Rios Weigh-In: Live Updates and Results from Pre-Fight Event Nov 22nd 2013, 22:08, by Kevin McRae It's time to hit the scales, and we hope you'll join us for our live coverage of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios weigh-in from the Venetian Resort in Macau, China. Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO) will be seeking to resurrect a career that once brought him to the top of the pound-for-pound rankings in the sport. He's suffered consecutive defeats—controversially to Timothy Bradley and decisively to Juan Manuel Marquez—and can ill-afford another loss. Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO) is facing the biggest challenge of his professional career. He's just emerging from an exciting but taxing two-fight series with Mike Alvarado, and he'll need to turn in the performance of his career in order to score the upset. The 12-round contest on Saturday night will not be for a championship, but it will be contested in the welterweight division, and both fighters will need to tip the scales at no more than 147 pounds.
