I don't agree with the WBC very often, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. So I agreed with the organization's decision this week to strip lightweight titleholder Adrien Broner of his 135-pound belt and elevate interim titleholder Omar Figueroa to full titlist. Broner won the title impressively in November 2012, knocking out Antonio DeMarco in the eighth round of a dominant performance, and defended it once, a one-sided fifth-round destruction of Gavin Rees last February.
