Long Island's Sean Mongahna was getting warmed up, lubing up the joints and tendons, when foe Matt Vanda's left bicep curled up. He grimaced, and walked to his corner, and the ref checked it it out, saw the swelling, and pulled the plug on the light-heavyweight tussle in Round 1 at the Madison Square Garden Theater on Saturday night. The Long Beach-based boxer went to 20-0 with the stoppage, and Vanda, out of Minnesota, dropped to 45-16. Monaghan, who knows and employs only one gear, forward, furiously, was backing up Vanda when the left bicep rebelled.
