Alvarez-Angulo officials assigned Feb 28th 2014, 01:59, by Dan Rafael The Nevada State Athletic Commission on Thursday handed out referee and judging assignments for the Golden Boy-promoted Showtime PPV on March 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The card is headlined by former junior middleweight titlist Canelo Alvarez facing Alfredo Angulo and features three world title bouts on the undercard. Tony Weeks will referee the main event in which Alvarez and Angulo will both be desperate for wins as they are both coming off losses.
