Other than a singular tweet earlier in the week announcing that his May 3 opponent would be fellow welterweight titlist Marcos Maidana, followed by one quote in a news release on the Showtime PPV fight, pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. hasn't had much to say about the fight. But he did consent to an interview with Showtime's Steve Farhood on Friday night's edition of "ShoBox: The New Generation" in Verona, N.Y. Mayweather was at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino because his Mayweather Promotions was putting on the card.
