Floyd Mayweather: 5 Fights to Show How a Fight Card Promoted by TMT Would Look
Aug 6th 2012, 14:43

Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent have the world on notice, as their boxing promotion company TMT (The Money Team) looks to put on its first show in Las Vegas in November.

Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy tried to dismiss it on Twitter in a back and forth with 50 Cent before flip-flopping and talking about his hopes in working with TMT some day.

Bob Arum of Top Rank called TMT a good thing for boxing and expressed his desires to do business with the company.

He even said this may make a long-awaited fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao more possible than ever.

One of the similarities between Top Rank and Golden Boy is that they each have a tendency to put on in-house productions using their vast stable of fighters.

TMT is not yet as huge a promoter as those two, but very well could put on their own in-house production using their own fighters and a few free agents and fighters with much smaller promoters.

50 Cent has even expressed how his vision of a fight card would work. He wants TMT's events to have five main event-caliber fights rather than one huge fight that fills up an arena at night's end.

With Mayweather just recently released from jail and looking quite healthy as he gets back to training, he could be the headliner of a November event.

Here's a prediction from start to finish of what the first boxing event produced and promoted primarily by TMT would look like.
