Floyd Mayweather Takes Jabs from Both 50 Cent and Manny Pacquiao
Nov 1st 2012, 13:06

Floyd Mayweather's former close friend, 50 Cent, and and longtime pound-for-pound rival, Manny Pacquiao, have each taken big shots at him.

Edward Chaykovsky of Boxing Scene reports that 50 Cent revealed that The Money Team (TMT) is no more because Mayweather was not ready to go in with him on the promotional venture.

50 Cent would say the following:

TMT is over. The money team is no longer a team. So it's SMS Promotions...that's it, that's all. I'm no longer a part or down with TMT Promotions. If anyone wants a Money Team jacket, I'm selling mine for a dollar. The snapback hat comes with it. That's a fair price. I moved the fighters to SMS Promotions 'cause the other half of 'the money team' didn't put up their money.

This message could very well mean not only the end of TMT, but the end of one of the most highly publicized alliances in boxing today.

Mayweather and 50 Cent have been seen together on television since 2007, when Mayweather first appeared on HBO's popular award-winning documentary series, 24/7.

The bond between the two seemed unbreakable then. Fast-forward to now, that does not seem to be the case.
