Floyd Mayweather: 3 Boxers Money-May Should Consider Fighting in 2013 Dec 6th 2012, 16:09 As Floyd Mayweather prepares for a busy 2013, there are a number of boxers that Money-May should consider fighting to further his legacy as one of the best ever. At this point in his career, it will be interesting to see if Mayweather decides to challenge himself or schedule some fights against opponents who are unlikely to defeat him, thus helping him maintain his unbeaten record. Let's look at three men who Mayweather should think about fighting next year.   Timothy Bradley Bradley is a fantastic opponent for Mayweather because the 29-year-old star beat Manny Pacquiao earlier this year, so if Money-May could beat Bradley, he would definitely have a chance to defeat PacMan. There's no doubt that Bradley is a worthy opponent for Mayweather given his previous fight history and overall record (29-0-0). If Mayweather is unable to schedule a fight with Pacquiao, then his next opponent should be a top-tier fighter such as Bradley. Money-May would be the favorite in a potential bout with Bradley, but there's no question that it would be a lengthy and exciting bout.   Saul Alvarez Even though he's just 22 years old, Saul Alvarez is one of the best fighters on the planet right now, and a rising start in the sport. His 41-0-1 record is incredibly impressive, and fighting Mayweather, regardless of the result, would help launch him into the boxing spotlight. Fighting someone such as Alvarez would be a risk for Mayweather because as a young star, the Mexican would be highly motivated to defeat Money-May. A matchup between these two fighters in 2013 seems unlikely at the moment, but it would definitely be a bout that fans would want to watch.   Manny Pacquiao You cannot make one of these lists without including the man that sports fans want to see step in the ring with Mayweather. Right after Pacquiao fights Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday, people will once again share their opinion on why this fight should occur, regardless if PacMan wins his latest fight or not.
