Mayweather, Canelo hit the road Jun 11th 2013, 17:35 Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s junior middleweight unification fight with Canelo Alvarez on Sept. 14 (Showtime PPV) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is by far the biggest fight of the year. In fact, it's one of the biggest fights in recent boxing history. As such, it will be supported by a huge 11-city, two-country media tour to promote the bout. The last time there was a tour of this caliber was in 2007 in support of Mayweather's record-setting HBO PPV fight with Oscar De La Hoya.
