Geale calls for GGG showdown Feb 24th 2014, 18:27, by Dan Rafael Former middleweight titlist Daniel Geale, who returned to the win column Wednesday by knocking out Australian countryman Garth Wood in the sixth round, is now calling for a fight with titleholder Gennady Golovkin. There’s two ways to look at that. On the one hand, it’s good to see Geale call for a fight with a guy most people do not want to face. GGG has been destroying opponents and is a sure loss for most opponents. On the other hand, it’s kind of easy to call out Golovkin when you have no chance to be his next opponent -- because you already declined the opportunity.
