Manny Pacquiao: Timothy Bradley Stupid to Trash Talk Pac-Man
Sep 17th 2012, 15:22

A couple of questionable judges may have decided that Timothy Bradley beat Manny Pacquiao in the ring back in June, but the result was highly controversial—to say the least—and turned a lot of remaining fans off to boxing.

It’s just ludicrous that Bradley is now talking trash toward Pac-Man for choosing to fight Juan Manuel Marquez, a boxer that has given Pacquiao three of the best matches of his career, rather than choosing a rematch against him.

According to the staff of ESPN.co.uk, Desert Storm believes that the Filipino is a “chicken” for refusing to step back inside of the ropes.

"What the public needs to know is Pacquiao, their No. 1 dude, doesn't care about his loss," Bradley told The Desert Sun. "You need to redeem yourself because Tim Bradley beat you. You need to come back and redeem that loss. He didn't want any part of me. Marquez is an easier fight. He knows that a fight with me and two good legs is going to be hell. I can't believe it. Any champion who lost his belt, you would want to redeem yourself. In my eyes, chicken (expletive), chicken, chicken, chicken."

Pacquiao shouldn’t care about his loss, because almost everyone who saw the fight and even those that didn’t believe that Pac-Man was the rightful winner.

The split decision was one of the most ridiculous outcomes in boxing history, and it’s doubtful that Pac would even want to fight someone that absolutely robbed him. It probably made him as sick as it did much of the dwindling boxing fanbase.

Pacquiao has nothing to prove against Bradley and will eventually beat him when he decides to move on and get the rematch out of the way.

It’s just ridiculous that Bradley is calling him a “chicken” for fighting a man that he knows he will get a great bout against, even if he’s been on the right side of a tough decision.

Back in November of 2011, Pacquiao and Marquez fought an epic match that went the distance, but the ref raised the Filipino’s arm after receiving the decision from the judges. Many viewers felt that Marquez was the victor, but Pacquiao won on the scorecards.

Pacquiao has to end any doubt that Marquez is a better boxer and rightful winner of their third bout before he moves on and shuts Bradley up.

If Desert Storm keeps talking, it’s only going to be worse when Pac-Man finally gets around to destroying him in the ring.
