Manny Pacquiao Shouldn't Retire After Fourth Battle with Marquez Dec 6th 2012, 12:00 It won't be long before the great Manny Pacquiao retires, but we can only hope he sticks around for a couple more fights. As noted by Lem Satterfield of RingTV.CraveOnline.com, there are still some worthy opponents left for Pacquiao to fight after Saturday's fourth bout with Juan Manuel Marquez. Secondly, Pacquiao looked a lot better against Timothy Bradley Jr. in June than he did against Marquez in November 2011. He was also more aggressive. It showed that the Filipino, who turns 34 years old on Dec. 17, still has something left in him. Floyd Mayweather Jr. would obviously be the greatest challenge for Pacquiao and would likely end up being the greatest fight of his career, whether he won or lost. Pacquiao told Satterfield in September: I spoke to Floyd, I don't remember, last year, last January I think, and he offered me an amount. He didn't talk about the pay-per-views here and...I can't agree with that. I told him that I agree with 45-and-55. In case you needed more clarification, that's Pacquiao saying he would take the lower end of that split. Who knows what is really going on behind closed doors, but if Pacquiao is telling the complete truth it makes the superfight an actual possibility, instead of a figment of our collective imagination. There's also junior welterweight Brandon Rios, who Top Rank CEO Bob Arum also promotes. The hard-hitting 26-year-old stopped Mike Alvarado in the seventh round in their October bout and told HBO's Max Kellerman the result would be no different against Pacquiao or Marquez. There is also Bradley, who Pacquiao has recently refused to fight after the controversial loss on the score cards in June, but could still be an option. Pacquiao has said that he will not fight when he is washed up, like countless historic boxers have throughout the years. I certainly respect and agree with that. But the Filipino still has some left in the tank. It was evident against Bradley and will likely be evident against Marquez. He's nearing the end of his career, but by no means should Pacquiao end it after the Marquez fight. Even if Pacquiao never lands a fight with Mayweather, there are still some options on the table and he's certainly not done impressing in the ring.   Read more Boxing news on BleacherReport.com
