Chisora's first Euro defense set Oct 24th 2013, 15:32, by Dan Rafael England's Dereck Chisora, who won the European heavyweight title on Sept. 21 by dominating and stopping Edmund Gerber in the fifth round, is set for his first defense. The 29-year-old Chisora (18-4, 12 KOs), scheduled to fight Nov. 30 in London, got his opponent on Thursday: Italian national champion Matteo Modugno (14-0, 8 KOs). Modugno has fought only once in the United States, with the rest of his bouts having taken place in Italy. The 6-foot-1 Chisora, a former world title challenger (a 2012 points loss to Vitali Klitschko), will be the first name opponent for the 6-foor-6½ Modugno.
